Aura Friedman is the mastermind behind the Ombré hair colour technique, her work took stage during New York Fashion Week on the S/S 11 Cynthia Rowley show. She is a colorist at the Serge Normant salon in NYC and the Lead Color Ambassador for Wella Professionals.
MIA and Lady Gaga are a few of Aura's growing clientele, her signature look the 'ombré' which was first seen on M.I.A some time ago, has rapidly caught on across ladies with mid-length to full length tassels but with a sophisticated twist. In an interview with Aura and Stylesight, she predicts this style will take off in Spring Summer 2011 with more drastic tones such as pinks, red and rose golds.
Its been a year since I dyed my hair black due to maintenance reasons, it has also grown past shoulder length. My plan was to eventually have naturally beautiful long black hair but my hair looks extremely dull! Thanks to Aura, i've found an aid to the boring growing process.
